Looking to make a day of your visit to Sunrise Soap Company and The Creation Station?
We’ve compiled our most frequently asked questions (and answers!) right here to help your next outing get planned!
1) What’s the best time to visit The Creation Station? How long should we plan on being there?
The Creation Station is open from 10am-4pm Sunday-Friday, and 9am-4pm on Saturdays*. Appointments are not required for individuals or small groups. Groups over 6 people please call ahead for availability or to reserve a private table/the full Creation Station (at no cost).
Most projects can be completed start-to-finish in under an hour, or even half an hour! If you’re tight on time, let us know and we’ll offer our best suggestions to fit your schedule. Some projects require fridge/freezer time after being made. Next-day pickups are very ok! We’re open seven days a week for a reason!
*on certain event days, like First Fridays, Sunrise Soap Company and The Creation Station may have extended hours. Call for details.
2) Where should we park Downtown?
We’re nicely snuggled into the heart of Downtown, so parking is abundant! There’s several parking garages and lots within a two minute walk to the store, plus street parking (free on Saturdays after 3pm, and all day Sunday).
3) What do you recommend for breakfast/lunch/dinner?
So many great food spots are right nearby! We’re particularly in love with the following restaurants, cafes, and Central Market booths:

4) What other activities do you recommend doing Downtown?
Stroll on over to the York County History Center’s Agricultural and Industrial Museum or take a walk by the Codorus Creek and follow the famous Rail Trail! There’s also Creative York right on North Beaver Street with us and Timeline Arcade’s incredible selection of vintage and modern games.
5) What other shops should we visit while we’re waiting for our projects to finish?
There’s no shortage of shops Downtown, but we always recommend:
