Beer Soap
Why Beer Soap?
Beer (and the hops we add to the soap) are surprisingly good ingredients for skincare! They add hydration, soothe sensitive skin, are full of antioxidants, and add some extra lather to our already luxuriously foamy soaps.
Does it smell like beer?
In short, yes. We don’t currently add a scent (essential oil or otherwise) to the soap to mask the natural scent of the ingredients. The scent is fairly light, and well balanced with the oils and butters that constitute the base of the soap.
What beer do we use?
Right now we are using non-alcoholic Guinness! Dark beers are great for soap making, and make for an overall more pleasant bar than lighter beers.
Each bar of Sunrise soap is hand-cut, hand-wrapped, and made in a small batch. There are five high quality oils and butters IN EVERY BAR, yielding a phenomenal cake of soap that is second-to-none!
